Terms & Conditions
These booking terms apply to safari arrangements confirmed with Wild Legends Africa unless a specific written agreement states otherwise.
1. Booking and Confirmation
A booking is confirmed once Wild Legends Africa has received the required deposit or full payment stated on your quotation or invoice and the services have been secured with the relevant suppliers.
2. Payment Terms
The balance due date will be shown on your quotation or invoice. If a booking is made close to departure, full payment may be required immediately. Payments are normally made by bank transfer unless another method has been agreed in writing.
3. Cancellations
All cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellation charges depend on the timing of the cancellation and the supplier terms already in place for lodges, camps, flights, permits, park fees, and other contracted services. Any non-refundable third-party costs already incurred will be passed on to the traveler.
4. Amendments
Requested changes after confirmation are subject to availability and may result in additional charges. Wild Legends Africa will always try to assist, but some amendments may trigger new supplier terms or rate differences.
5. Rates and Availability
All quotations are subject to availability until the booking is confirmed. Rates may change before confirmation because of supplier updates, transport costs, tax changes, currency movement, or government fees outside our control.
6. Travel Documents and Health Requirements
It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure that passports, visas, travel authorisations, vaccination documentation, and other entry requirements are correct for the full itinerary. Health and immigration rules can change, so travelers should check official sources before departure.
7. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for every traveler. Coverage should include cancellation, curtailment, medical expenses, personal belongings, and emergency evacuation where appropriate.
8. Supplier Responsibility
Wild Legends Africa arranges services with hotels, lodges, camps, transport providers, guides, airlines, and other independent suppliers. Each supplier operates under its own conditions and limitations, and the traveler accepts those third-party operating terms as part of the booking.
9. Changes to Itinerary
While we do our best to operate every itinerary as confirmed, we may need to make reasonable changes if required by weather, road conditions, safety considerations, supplier operating issues, conservation regulations, or force majeure events.
10. Limitation of Liability
Wild Legends Africa will use reasonable care in arranging and coordinating travel services. However, we cannot accept liability for loss, delay, injury, damage, or additional costs arising from events beyond our direct control, including acts of government, airline schedule changes, supplier failure, weather disruption, or force majeure.
11. Acceptance
Payment of a deposit or final balance confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
